Well known for manufacturing top shelf rimfire ammunition, ELEY Americas announced the company was now offering .177 pellets for air rifles. Called the Ventus, the new pellets appear to have the same attention to detail given to their manufacture as the company gives to its .22 LR loads.
The pellets are made at the company’s Birmingham (UK) plant. According to the company, the pellets offer world class accuracy. During the manufacture, the company keeps weight control within batches to tight tolerances and is said to offer 30% better weight consistency than competitors.
To decrease the likelihood of damage after manufacture, ELEY uses a transparent plastic box that is divided into four compartments with a foam rubber cushion. This should help reduce deformation of the pellets when being moved.
