Franchi has introduced a new bolt action rifle to the US market. It is called Momentum. Earlier Franchi released a very similar rifle called Horizon. Momentum has some minor differences like a fluted bolt shaft. Most likely, Momentum is the designation of the Horizon rifles exported to the USA.

Franchi Momentum has a fluted single-piece 3-lug bolt with a 60 degree bolt throw. The rifle is chambered in one of the following calibers: .243 Winchester, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .270 Winchester, .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, .300 Win. Mag.
The polymer stock comes with Franchi TSA recoil pad that is advertised to reduce the felt recoil by 50%. The stock has checkering pattern on the forearm, grip and on the toe area.
