Buzz Aldrin journeyed to the moon with Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins in July 1969, and together their Apollo 11 flight created one of history’s most indelible moments. In the years since, Aldrin has become a passionate advocate for returning to space and rekindling America’s ambition to explore the outer limits. At the 2014 Forbes Philanthropy Summit, Aldrin spoke with Steve Forbes about how the determination of one man in the Apollo program changed history.
