China: Top brands boycott cotton from Xianjing in solidarity with Uighur people

China has been accused of using torture, sterilisation and forced labour against the Uighur people who have been detained in camps in the Xinjiang region.

Several high street retailers have boycotted the use of Xianjing cotton for their clothing in solidarity with the Uighur people

A senior diplomat in China’s UK embassy said his country should not be judged by a few satellite images.
