Connelly: Gun rights advocates, many packing heat, rally at state capitol

Gun rights advocates, many displaying their weapons, rallied in the rain at the Washington State Capitol on Friday, three days before a Senate Law and Justice Committee hearing on five proposed firearms safety bills. The chief speaker was state Rep. Matt Shea, R-Spokane Valley, who has traveled to Oregon and Nevada to witness and show support for protests against federal land management led by the family of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy.
