Before today, Daniel Defense was known for making great rifles and rail systems. However, as of today, they now also produce a handgun, and they’re calling it the Daniel H9.
To address the question you might be asking yourself right now, yes, it looks like a Hudson H9.
That’s because it kind of is.
Daniel Defense acquired the Hudson H9 and then rebuilt it.
So, think of the Hudson H9 as the concept and the Daniel H9 as the production model. It’s different but the same.
The Daniel H9 is the same in that it’s still chambered in 9mm with a 15-round capacity, the same general shape, a great low-bore axis, and a very similar trigger.
The difference now is that it’s made of aluminum, has a shorter grip, and the front end, where the light rail is, sits a little higher now.
